Bose 402 Series II Panaray Loudpeaker

We have installed many dozens of these, because they can control their pattern of dispersion all the way down to 500Hz, a remarkable feat for a small, inexpensive loudspeaker system. Only line-arrays and huge large-format horns can achieve this level of pattern-control this far down into the voice-range, the primary purpose of most systems. Also due to their light-weight, (15Lbs.), they are easy to safely-suspend overhead. Superior performance without the bulk of conventional (huge) professional loudspeakers. Four proprietary 4.5-inch (11.4cm) full-range drivers and active EQ help reproduce vocals and acoustic instruments with clarity and detail. An acoustic diffractor broadens and smoothes the sound pattern for more uniform, even coverage from slim, light-weight loudspeakers. A proprietary Articulated Array® speaker configuration positions the drivers for broad horizontal and narrow vertical dispersion. Panaray® 402® loudspeakers are engineered to withstand environmental extremes: blistering heat to frigid cold, dusty air to dense fog. They can endure harsh conditions like wind, rain, snow and sleet.

Most users do not need a license to operate a wireless microphone system. Nevertheless, operating a microphone system without a license is subject to certain restrictions: the system may not cause harmful interference; it must operate at a low power level (not in excess of 50 milliwatts); and it has no protection from interference received from any other device. Purchasers should also be aware that the FCC is currently evaluating use of wireless microphone systems, and these rules are subject to change. For more information, call the FCC at 1-888- CALL-FCC (TTY: 1-888-TELL-FCC) or visit the FCCs wireless microphone website at
