The "i-Kenny Kable" is custom made by Roth Electric Sound to connect the headphone output from an Ipod type device to the input of any Shure wireless belt-pack transmitter. Originally developed for MARCHING BAND DIRECTORS to use their iPhone-based METRONOME with the SOUND PROJECTIONS SOUND MACHINE, FREEDOM, OR VOICE MACHINE MODELS WIRELESSLY. This 28" long stereo mini to TA4F (mini-XLR connector) includes the necessary mono-summing network to properly sum the L/R signal while protecting the headphone output from being shorted out (by using a "Y" adapter, a very bad idea that can let the magic smoke out of your phone). Connect your Ipad and Iphone type devices to your sound system (wireless mic) transmitter and rock on. !!! Will work with ANY jambox, laptop, MP3 player, phone, etc. that has a 1/8" (3.5mm) headphone output jack. /* */ |

CONSUMER ALERT
Most users do not need a license to operate a wireless microphone system.
Nevertheless, operating a microphone system without a license is subject to certain
restrictions: the system may not cause harmful interference; it must operate at a low
power level (not in excess of 50 milliwatts); and it has no protection from interference
received from any other device. Purchasers should also be aware that the FCC is
currently evaluating use of wireless microphone systems, and these rules are subject to
change. For more information, call the FCC at 1-888- CALL-FCC (TTY: 1-888-TELL-FCC) or visit the FCC’s wireless microphone website at
www.fcc.gov/cgb/wirelessmicrophones.
